I think this article on Kevin Durant should have been titled “NBA superstars’ scoring statistics diminish in the fourth quarter because the game is often decided by that point so they are either resting while the scrubs play or jacking up threes to try and mount a comeback. Durant’s numbers take a bigger dive than most because he is on a worse team that does not have as many wins. Stupid articles like this probably do more to ensure that Durant is gone when his contract is up, hopefully he goes to the Mavericks”
It’s a bit cumbersome and it probably wouldn’t draw as many readers, but it would have been more honest.
